“Brick by brick” we can save lives in Israel, together.
The Brick by Brick campaign will provide funding to build the largest state-of-the-art high-tech cardiac center in the Middle East, at Rehovot's Kaplan Medical Center.
Israeli citizens will cover two-thirds of the $45 Million cost. AFKMC's goal is to raise $15 Million, with every dollar raised in the US matched by Israeli citizens.
Curently, cardiac patients are housed in outdated barracks built more than six decades ago. They must be wheeled, outside, between these barracks and the surgical center.
The new cardiac center will co-locate surgical areas and patient rooms, provide much more comfortable facilities for patients and their families, and put sophisticated imaging and diagnostic equipment and labs under the same roof.
Consider dedicating a room in memory or honor of a loved one via our naming opportunities. Dedication pledges can be fulfilled over a multi-year period.
The Heart and Sole Campaign engages participating organizations to collect “gently worn” shoes that will be donated to needy recipients in 50 countries around the world.
In return, based upon the total weight of shoes collected, AFKMC will receive a check from the recycling agency. All proceeds go directly to the “Brick-by-Brick” fund.
Let's work together to build the largest high-tech Cardiac Center in the Middle East. Over one thousand synagogues, churches, and college campus groups are expected to participate.
